Your Bear Viewing Day with Emerald Air Service
Your bear viewing experience is operated by Emerald Air Service, Homer’s longest-running bear viewing company. On your flight day, you’ll meet your pilot and guide right on the lake, then take off by floatplane into some of Alaska’s most spectacular bear country.
A typical day might include:
A scenic flight over glaciers, coastline, and wild river valleys
Landing on a remote beach or river to walk with your guide
Time spent safely observing wild bears in their natural habitat
A return flight back to Beluga Lake, with memories and photos you’ll talk about for years
Lakeshore provides your lodging for this experience, while Emerald Air Service operates and manages your bear viewing tour. We work closely together to help you plan a seamless stay.
